The Eighth, and is of the Seven

President Trump in Prophecy

Author’s note:

This article was first published just prior to President Trump’s election loss on November 3, 2020. When we first came to understand the passage from Daniel 11:1, 2 was prefiguring Donald Trump, we firmly believed that God was opening up truth of Bible prophecy for His people. However, as a result of President Trump’s loss in 2020, we experienced a repeat of what Jeremiah, Ezekiel and John experienced.

Jeremiah

“Thy words were found, and I did eat them; and thy word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by thy name, O LORD God of hosts”. Jeremiah 15:16

Ezekiel

“Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel. So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll. And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.” Ezekiel 3:1-3

John the Revelator

“And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take [it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.” Revelation 10:9

And then, for reasons known only to God, President Trump lost the election. (Many believe it was stolen, nevertheless God is in control).

We suffered the experience of Jeremiah, Ezekiel and John.

Jeremiah

“Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, [which] refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether unto me as a liar, [and as] waters [that] fail?” Jeremiah 15:18

Ezekiel

“So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.” Ezekiel 3:14

John the Revelator

“And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter…” Revelation 10:10

As with the Millerites, our problem was not God’s Word. It was our incomplete understanding as well as the unfolding of His Word. We already understood that “history repeats”, however we did not even consider the possibility of reapplying the “deadly wound” the papacy received in 1798 (Revelation 13:3 & 17:9-11) to a presidential loss in 2020.

“And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.” Rev 13:3

“And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition. Revelation 17:9-11

William Miller’s Rules of Biblical Interpretation

Rule #10 states:

Figures sometimes have two or more different significations; as a day is used in a figurative sense to represent three different periods of time. 1—Indefinite 2—Definite, a day for a year 3—Day for a thousand years

In other words, symbols can have more than one meaning. Both the “deadly wound” as well as “the eighth, and is of the seven” are symbols with more than one application.

The primary application of the “eighth, and is of the seven” (Rev 17:11 above) is the papacy in control of modern Babylon after the healing of the deadly wound.

The kingdoms addressed in Rev 17:9-11 above are:

1---Babylon

2---Medo-Persia

3---Greece

4---Rome pagan

5---Rome papal (received deadly wound in 1798)

6---Protestant USA arose in 1776/destined to become the false prophet

7---10 kings/UN/dragon power

8---Papal Rome at the head of modern Babylon, when the 10 kings give their kingdom to the first beast of Revelation 13:1-10 for one hour in order to fulfill God’s will.

A quick glance demonstrates the eighth, and is of the seven. The kingdom that received the deadly wound is the fifth (1260 years of papal rule from 538-1798) that also will become the eighth shortly after the Sunday Law decree in the US.

A secondary application

The Laodicean church in Revelation 3 is the seventh and last church mentioned. However the testimony is that they are wrenched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked, and represent the five foolish virgins, and as such will be lost. But if they receive the council of the True Witness, they become Philadelphians (wise virgins) and will be lifted up as the ensign (144,000) to bring in God’s “other flock” at the soon coming Sunday Law in the US. The Philadelphians will then have become the “eighth that is of the seven.

A tertiary application

The time of the end for this final generation was 1989 (Dan 11:40b/explained later in this article).

President Donald Trump was the sixth president of the United States and will become the “eighth, and is of the seven” on November 5, 2024. This will also be explained as we proceed.

We should study and earnestly pray in order to understand how the experiences of God’s people apply to us today in these final hours of earth’s history.

“Again and again I have been shown that the past experiences of God's people are not to be counted as dead facts. We are not to treat the record of these experiences as we would treat a last year's almanac. The record is to be kept in mind, for history will repeat itself.” PM 175.3

Paul agrees:

“Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples (margin/types) and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.” 1 Cor. 10:11

The original 2020 article below has been edited to reflect current understanding.

President Trump in Prophecy

“While the Protestant world is by her attitude making concessions to Rome, let us arouse to comprehend the situation and view the contest before us in its true bearings. Let the watchmen now lift up their voice and give the message which is present truth for this time. Let us show the people where we are in prophetic history and seek to arouse the spirit of true Protestantism, awaking the world to a sense of the value of the privileges of religious liberty so long enjoyed. God calls upon us to awake, for the end is near.” 5T 716 (1889)

From a human standpoint it appears reasonable to speculate that the president to bring in the Sunday Law would be the Jesuit educated Mike Pence. This would be a logical assumption in the event that president Trump should be either impeached and removed from office (unlikely) or possibly assassinated (there have been two attempts as of this writing) by two of his many enemies. However the prophetic scenario is very clear that the president to sign a law violating conscience (Sunday Law), which is a progressive process, will be President Trump!!

History repeats itself

Ecclesiastes 1:9-11

“The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun. Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us. There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.”

God requires us to know the past history of His people.

“That which hath been is now; and that which is to be hath already been; and God requireth that which is past.” Ecclesiastes 3:15

Notice the following quote:

“The prophecy in the eleventh of Daniel has nearly reached its complete fulfillment. Much of the history that has taken place in fulfillment of this prophecy will be repeated...” 13mr 394

Time of the End

There are multiple “time of the ends” in God’s Word. Some are the end of prophecies, and some, the end of time prophecies. The 1260 and the 1290 of Dan 12:7,11 were time prophecies, each ending in 1798. The 5 months (Rev 9:10) ended on July 27, 1449, followed by the hour, day, month and a year (Rev 9:15) ended on August 11, 1840. The 1335 of Dan 12:12 ended on April 18,1844. The 2520 of Dan 8:13 and Isaiah 7:8 amazingly ended for the northern kingdom in 1798 and for the southern kingdom in 1844. The 2300 year prophecy also ended at the time of the end in 1844.

Jesus in Mark 1:15 states:

“And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.” Mark 1:15

In the above quote, Jesus is addressing the 69th and 70th weeks allotted God’s people found in Daniel 9:25-27.

At the “time of the end” knowledge is increased:

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.” Dan 12:4

“And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.” Dan 12:9

Four “time of the ends” in Daniel’s last vision:

Daniel, chapters 10-12 is one vision.

Dan 10:1 begins with the Time of the End (TOE) of the 70 years of Babylonian captivity in fulfillment of Jeremiah’s prophecy.

Jeremiah 29:10

“For thus saith the Lord, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.”

In Dan 11:1 (the same vision) Gabriel gives us a 2nd witness to a TOE as the 1st year of Darius was the fulfillment of the 70 years of Babylonian rule found in:

Jeremiah 25:11,12

“And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years. And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, saith the Lord, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.”

Daniel received an increase of knowledge from Gabriel on both the 70 years of Babylonian rule as well as the 70 years of Judah’s Babylonian captivity.

In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall a thing be established. See 2Cor 13:1, Jn 5:31-33.

Again, there are two “time of the ends” at the beginning of Daniel’s last vision (Dan 10:1, Dan 11:1).

And there are also two “time of the ends” at the end of his last vision in Dan 11:40.

Notice in the following quote that the TOE of the Babylon captivity referred to in Jeremiah 29:10 (536 BC) is linked to the TOE in 1798 (Dan 11:40a).

“Today the church of God is free to carry forward to completion the divine plan for the salvation of a lost race. For many centuries God’s people suffered a restriction of their liberties. The preaching of the gospel in its purity was prohibited, and the severest of penalties were visited upon those who dared disobey the mandates of men. As a consequence, the Lord’s great moral vineyard was almost wholly unoccupied. The people were deprived of the light of God’s word. The darkness of error and superstition threatened to blot out a knowledge of true religion. God’s church on earth was as verily in captivity during this long period of relentless persecution as were the children of Israel held captive in Babylon during the period of the exile.” PK 714

The TOE for the awakening of the Millerites was the end of the 1260/2520 year prophecy in 1798, foretold in Dan 11:40a.

“And at the time of the end shall the king of the south [atheistic France] push at him…” [Berthier took the pope captive giving papal Rome the deadly wound thereby ending the 1260 year rule (538-1798];… Dan 11:40a

A few years after the time of the end in 1798, William Miller was given an understanding of the prophecies leading to the time of the end and knowledge was increased.

“I saw that God sent His angel to move upon the heart of a farmer [William Miller] who had not believed the Bible, and led him to search the prophecies. Angels of God repeatedly visited that chosen one, and guided his mind, and opened his understanding to prophecies which had ever been dark to God's people. The commencement of the chain of truth was given him, and he was led on to search for link after link, until he looked with wonder and admiration upon the Word of God. . . .” {TA 247.2}

The Time of the End of this final generation__1989:

In the early 1990’s knowledge was increased as Jesus, the Alpha and Omega, opened to Future for America the last six verses of Daniel 11. Verse 40 begins with the deadly wound the king of the north received in 1798, followed by a three step process in order for the papacy to gain control of the world. Verse 45 prophesies that the king of the north comes to his end and none shall help him, which is the final demise of the man of sin. In Daniel 12:1 Michael (Christ) stands up and human probation closes.

Dan 11:40b.

“…and the king of the north [papacy with the aid of the USA] shall come against him [the king of the south, which in 1989 was the USSR] like a whirlwind [the overthrow of the USSR was quick and decisive] with chariots, and with horsemen [military might of the USA], and with many ships [economics sanctions imposed by the USA];and he shall enter into the countries [confederacy of atheistic Soviet Republic/USSR] and shall overflow and pass over.”

In 1989 the king of the south (atheism/USSR—-“who is God that I should obey Him?”) was dismantled by the combined forces of the papacy in collusion with the economic and military might of the US (armies of Rome).

To repeat, Dan 11:40 addresses two “time of the ends” (1798 and 1989).

Dan 11:30 addresses the transition from pagan to papal Rome, which prefigures the transition from the US (sixth kingdom) to the one world government, with the papacy at the head of the threefold makeup of modern Babylon.

“For the ships of Chittim shall come against him [pagan Rome] therefore he shall be grieved, and return, and have indignation against the holy covenant: so shall he do; he shall even return, and have intelligence with them that forsake the holy covenant.” [papal Rome] Dan 11:30

Intelligence with papal Rome:

In 533 Justinian declared the bishop of Rome the “head of all the churches” and the “corrector of heretics”.

Antitypical fulfillment:

From 1984-1989 President Reagan, in fulfillment with Dan 11:30 sent his head of intelligence to the Vatican and confederated with the pope (king of the north) to dismantle the USSR (king of the south at the time). The Berlin wall fell on November 9,1989, in fulfillment of Dan 11:40b. The fulfillment of this prophecy in 1989 is therefore the time of the end of this final generation.

How does Trump fulfill the prophetic model?

Not only have we identified the prophetic rule that “symbols can have more than one meaning”, but we have previously quoted that “much of the history that has taken place in fulfillment of this prophecy will be repeated.” 13MR 394

Again, “the eighth, and is of the seven” (typifying President Trump):

Daniel 11:2

“And now will I shew thee the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet [meaning after Cyrus who was king at the TOE of the Babylon captivity; who eventually issued the first decree] three kings in Persia [Cambyses, False Smerdis and Darius]; and the fourth [Xerxes the great] shall be far richer than they all: and by his strength through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.” [The world government following Medo-Persia, therefore Greece prefigures the One World Government Order today].

For those who have eyes to see, President Trump was prefigured by Xerxes the Great in the above passage.

1--President Trump was the fourth after the two presidents (at the time of the end in 1989) co-ruling from the election in November to the inauguration in January of 1990.

2—President Trump definitely is far richer than the other seven.

3---President Trump has certainly stirred up the one world globalist who were prefigured by the Greeks.

According to Dan 8:20, Medo-Persia is a two horned power, and as such prophetically prefigures the second beast of Rev 13:11, which is the USA, also a two horn power.

Gabriel mentions only these first four Medo-Persian kings then skips forward to Greece. Eight kings who reigned after Xerxes the Great were omitted. Even Artaxerxes, who issued the third decree initiating the 2300 year prophecy was not mentioned. This is a significant omission.

The question is, “Why did Gabriel bypass eight kings?”

Eight is the number of “resurrection” or “a new beginning”.

There were eight souls on the ark that survived the deluge. The Hebrew sons were circumcised on the eighth day. When one considers that Christ rested in the tomb on the seventh day, one could prophetically say that He was symbolically resurrected on the eighth day.

Gabriel bypassed those eight kings because he wanted Daniel to see a very important truth. This truth is even more important for us to understand who are now living in the antitypical fulfillment of this prophecy.

The profound answer is that Xerxes the Great [the fourth] was Ahasuerus of the book of Esther, who was persuaded by Haman (being influenced by his wife and ten sons) to issue a death decree against God’s people. Sound familiar?

Antitypical application of Daniel 11:2:

Just as at the TOE of the Jewish captivity (536 BC) Darius and Cyrus were co-ruling, in 1989 (fulfillment of Dan 11:40b above) Reagan and HW Bush co-ruled from the election to the inauguration on Jan 20, 1990.

Clinton

GW Bush

Obama

The antitypical fourth, who is “far richer than they all”, is Trump.

Xerxes death decree prefigures the universal death decree, which is preceded by both the universal Sunday Law which in turn is preceded by the national Sunday Law in the US.

Greece followed Medo-Persia to rule the world; therefore stirring up the realm of Grecia is clearly prefiguring and identifying Trump angering the One World Order forces by his nationalistic policies (backing out of the Paris Accords and easing the restrictions associated with global warming, withdrawing from the Iranian deal, attempting to close the borders to illegal immigration (especially those from terrorist countries), exposing government corruption within the FBI, DOJ and CIA, appointing judges who follow the constitution rather than legislating law from the bench, securing a better deal with NATO, and seeking a better arrangement with NAFTA).

A second witness verifying that President Trump will sign a Sunday Law:

The eternal consequences of the cross can be seen to parallel the Sunday Law.

“For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23

“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Gen 2:16, 17

“Question: Should the same principles govern our work and our attitude toward the Sunday question in foreign fields where the prejudices of the people are so strong?

"Yes; just the same. The light that I have is that God's servants should go quietly to work, preaching the grand, precious truths of the Bible--Christ and Him crucified, His love and infinite sacrifice --showing that the reason why Christ died is because the law of God is immutable, unchangeable, eternal. The Spirit of the Lord will awaken the conscience and the understanding of those with whom you work, bringing the commandments of God to their remembrance. I can hardly describe to you the way in which this has been presented to me.” SW 69, 70

The cross and God’s Moral Law cannot be separated. The Sabbath is the seal of His Law and during the Sunday Law crisis God’s people are sealed and thereafter demonstrate their loyalty to Him.

“For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled” [Matthew 5:17, 18].

“This is the statement coming from the mouth of God through Jesus Christ. How then can ministers in their pulpits declare that the law was abolished at the cross? The fourth commandment is unchanged; the seventh day is God’s memorial, testifying of His creative power in making the world in six days and resting on the seventh day. Every voice that shall be heard in the pulpits on Sunday testifying that the first day of the week is the Sabbath is echoing the words of the first great deceiver. In this teaching the ministers are giving themselves away, for where there is no law there is no transgression, no sin, and if no sin, there is no need of the gospel, no need of a Saviour.” 21 MR 282.2

Rome, the power that crucified Christ, prefigures the USA who will crucify Him again in the persecution of His faithful witnesses during the soon coming Sunday Law crisis.

The four leaders of Rome leading to the cross are:

Pompey, who subdued Syria in 65BC and Palestine in 63BC.

Julius Caesar who was considered a dictator.

Augustus Caesar who after winning the battle of Actium, took control of Egypt (and thus the entire world) in 31BC.

Tiberius Caesar, under whose rule Christ was crucified.

Daniel 11:20, 21

“Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes [as Augustus raised taxes, so Obamacare was a tax on the American people] in the glory of the kingdom [the nation has been severely divided since his administration. This division is throughout the spectrum of our society. It appears to have been a divide and conquer strategy. Whether the divide is between conservatives vs. liberals, rich vs. poor, black vs. whites, cops vs. minorities or just the haves vs. the have nots, this country has been politically divided since President Obama to the point of being on the verge of a civil war]; but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. And in his estate shall stand up a vile [Strong’s suggests despised/ it appears both may apply] person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom [unaccepted by the New World Order forces or the Deep State as well as the Never Trumpers within his own party, the Democrats and the liberal media which give him 90% negative press]; but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries [Art of the Deal/MAGA; seems to apply also].”

Daniel 11:22

“And with the arms of a flood shall they be overflown from before him, and shall be broken; yea, also the prince of the covenant.”

Christ was crucified under the vile/despised Tiberius who won his kingdom by flatteries. He will again be symbolically crucified at the SL through His faithful witnesses under a vile/despised Donald Trump who obtained his kingdom by flatteries (nationalism/Art of the Deal/MAGA).

Since he has not been known as a spiritual person, Trump can be seen prefigured in the line of Xerxes as having been deceived by the religionists (Haman’s wife and 10 sons who prefigure the Beast and the 10 kings of Rev 17) who have a great influence on his actions.

Dan 11 contains other lines, however these are the most obvious.

Conclusion:

“And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, [and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.” Rev 17:9-11

Just as the papacy received its “deadly wound” from atheistic France in 1798, President Trump received a symbolic “deadly wound” from the atheistic globalists and RINO republicans at his 2020 election defeat. In addition, counting from our “time of the end” at the fulfilment of Daniel 11:40b in 1989 including Reagan and Bush 1, President Trump is the sixth, President Biden is the seventh, and on Nov. 5, 2024 President Trump will be “the eighth, and is of the seven”.

Clearly, one can see history has been repeating under these last presidential administrations and it will be during this last administration that a deceived President Trump (as with Xerxes in the days of Esther) will sign a law to bring about the national Sunday Law crises.

1 Thessalonians 5:4

“But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.”

We have a responsibility to warn others of the eternal consequences of our choice at soon coming Sunday Law.

“Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take [any] person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand. So thou, O son of man, I have set thee a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore thou shalt hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.” Ezekiel 33:2-7

May we realize the seriousness of the times in which we are living and grasp hold of the kind of faith spoken of in William Miller’s rule #14:

“The most important rule of all is, that you must have faith. It must be a faith that requires a sacrifice, and if tried, would give up the dearest object on earth, the world and all its desires,–character, living, occupation, family, home, comfort, and worldly honors. If any of them should hinder our believing any part of God’s word, it would show our faith to be vain. Nor can we ever believe so long as any of these motives lies lurking in our hearts. We must believe that God will never forfeit His word; and we can have confidence that He who takes notice of the sparrow’s fall, and numbers the hairs of our head, will guard the translation of His own word, and throw a barrier around it, and prevent those who sincerely trust in God, and put implicit confidence in His word, from erring far from the truth, though they may not understand Hebrew or Greek. [Heb.11:6. Rom.14:23. Jms.2:26. Jn.7:16,17. Mt.7:21].”
